All Saints Catholic Community in New Riegel, Ohio has a full-time opening for a Business Manager. Office hours are generally 8 AM to 5 PM Monday – Friday, but will include some evening and weekend hours and limited overnight travel. This is an in-office exempt salaried position with limited remote work opportunities. Benefits include, but may not be limited to paid time off, group health insurance and diocesan pension. The salary range is $50,000 to $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

 

The successful candidate will have:

    • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business or Finance or related business discipline
    • A thorough working knowledge of accounting principles
    • The experience and ability to:
    • Provide leadership, management, and day-to-day supervision of the parish’s temporal affairs
    • Successfully lead, direct, and manage team members, committees, and volunteers
    • Face situations firmly, courteously, tactfully, and with respect for the rights of others
    • Direct and lead a parish festival team and successful parish festival
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills
    • A high degree of computer ability, especially in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products
    • An understanding and commitment to the Catholic Church and its mission
    • The ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
    • A successful FBI/BCI background check
    • A successful completion of the diocesan child protection training

 

The Business Manager oversees the administrative and business functions of the parish in an accurate, efficient, thorough, professional, and timely manner, which will strengthen the Church and give the proper administrative foundation to support the pursuit of the parish’s mission, ministry, and growth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Keeping accurate financial and parish records
    • Budgets
    • Preparing and analyzing reports
    • Ensuring the parish is practicing sound financial practices according to both the law and Diocesan policy
